Dear Members,
We BCS Sri Lanka Section publish a news letter on behalf of the SL Section as a mark of 20th year of BCS Sri Lanka Section in January 2017. This is with the intention to communicate with the membership periodically and update the members on the activities carried out by the chapter. We initially planned to release 2 newsletters for a year and gradually increase it up to 4 newsletters for a year. The support and encouragement given by the BCS Sri Lanka
membership pushed us to fast-forward the target within 3 months.
In addition all our previous releases are targeted towards a specific special interest groups, and also we try to address the ongoing industry issues.

Volume 2 – is focused on Application Development & Management
Volume 3 – is focused on IT Security & Cyber Law
Volume 4 – is focused on Management
Volume 5 – is focused on GDPR
Volume 6 – is focused on Data Science
Volume 7 – is focused on Digital Workforce
Volume 8 – is focused on Agile
Volume 9 – is focused on Remote Working
Volume 10 – is focused on Lean

In 2016, BCS Sri Lanka Section launched a newsletter for our members and as a result, we have so far produced 11 volumes with timely topics that would be beneficial to our members. Today, we have taken a step further to have a blog for the BCS Sri Lanka Section members with the intention of interacting with our members. We look forward to the active participation and interaction of our members in making this new initiative a success.
