Mr. Alanzo Doll is a Business Strategist and Technology leader with over 30 years’ experience in the ICT industry at several leading multinationals in the areas of Senior Leadership, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Technology Transformation, Data Analytics & AI and Enterprise Solutions Architecture & Design.
Founder / Director of Triune Consulting International (Pvt) Ltd and Chief Technology Officer of Engenuity AI (Pvt) Ltd, with immediate past employment at AIA Insurance Lanka as Chief Technology Officer / Director IT. Previous work experience includes IBM, Microsoft, EZY and several other leading IT systems integrators.
Holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered IT Professional (CITP), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Degree in Computer Science (BSc), INSEAD Executive Education in Enterprise Leadership, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS).

Mr. Sanjeeva Perera

Mr. Sanjeeva Perera is a professional member of BCS and has joined the section committee as a Exco member in 2010. Prior to joining the section committee, he has played many roles in organizing NBQSA since 2009 and was elected as The Chairman NBQSA in 2018. Sanjeeva has served NBQSA as a Commercial Category Judge since 2010 and has served as a Category Judge at APICTA in Pakistan last year.
Sanjeeva is professionally qualified in Electronics and Telecommunications engineering from The City & Guilds of London and holds a MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies of Rajarata University. He has well over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry. He is the founder, CTO of Drones.lk, providing technical support for armed forces in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Sanharsha Jayatissa

Sanharsha Jayatissa is a seasoned and goal-oriented executive currently leading global operations at Axiata Digital Labs, one of the top IT solutions companies in Asia. With over 18 years of diversified experience, he has a proven track record of accomplishments in some of the most competitive and complex industries in the region. Currently, Sanharsha is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Lincoln University to further enhance his knowledge and skills in the field of business management. Previously, he successfully set up an IT company, spearheaded IT for a large-scale organization in Sri Lanka, and provided stewardship as Head of Asia Operations for a multinational company.
Sanharsha holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Information Systems from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, a Master of Science degree in IT and Management from Keele University, UK, and a Master of Business Administration degree in General Management from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. His educational background has provided him with a strong foundation in information systems, IT management, and general business management.
He possesses exceptional operational and people management skills and practical knowledge of leading initiatives, building teams, and developing innovative platforms. Sanharsha is driven by his passion for excellence and his commitment to delivering value to his clients and stakeholders.
Mr. Vajeendra S Kandegamage MBCS, CITP

Mr. Vajeendra S Kandegamage is a highly skilled Chartered IT Professional with proven track records for over 27 years in the IT industry. Being a results-oriented individual and a well-established entrepreneur, he shows his capabilities by holding many positions at various private sector organizations.
Further, for over 15 years he is been recognised continuously as one of the most experienced ICT judges at both national and International ICT competitions. At present he is working as the Managing Director/ CEO of Stemcore Asia (Pvt) Limited.
In addition, his continuous contribution as the Chairman for National ICT Awards – NBQSA, for 10 consecutive years recognises his management and leadership capabilities. He also holds office in many honoured positions at BCS The chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka and Asia Pacific ICT Alliance.
Prof. Lasith Gunawardena FBCS

Prof. Lasith Gunawardena is professor at the Department of Information Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He counts over 23 years of Academic and Research experience at University Level. Prof. Gunawardena commenced his affiliation with BCS as a student member in 1997 and is presently a Fellow member of BCS. He has been an executive committee member of the Sri Lanka section since 2018.
He has been the Sri Lanka Chapter Chair of the IEEE Computer Society in 2009-10 and is a former Secretary of the Sri Lanka Academy of Young Scientists. He is also a senior member of the IEEE and ACM. He serves in the Researcher Advisory Council of ORCID Inc. and Advisory Board of STEMUp Foundation. He has also served as a Registered University Teacher at Plymouth University, UK.
Mr. K V Kuganathan

Mr. K V Kuganathan is a seasoned Business, Digital & IT Strategist for Financial sector. He has over 23 years of experience, with 7+ at the C-level. Currently working as a Chief Information officer at Janashakthi Insurance PLC. He has transformed National Development Bank PLC as the Sri Lankan Leading Mobility Banking solution provider for its loyal customer by Heading Digital & IT Strategy. Further he initiated & Head the E Banking division at Hatton National Bank PLC.
Kugan is known for his innovative, creative and results-oriented leadership in building, transforming financial model into Digital businesses with an acute focus on achieving exceptional results. Kugan also has the distinction in MSc in IT Consultancy as well as Degree in Computing and Information Systems. He has many prestigious accolades to his credit in recognition of his contribution and is a renowned public speaker at many International conferences focusing on Channel Optimization. He has Judged NBQSA ICT Awards & Asia Pacific ICT Awards since 2011.He is serving as a Non-Executive Director for UPAY.
Mr. Ruwan Amarasekara

Mr. Ruwan Amarasekara has been a Chartered member of BCS and obtained his MBA from University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He has a Post graduate Diploma in Marketing and is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He has been an Executive Committee Member of BCS Sri Lanka Section since 2004. He was extensively involved in many projects carried out by the Sri Lanka Section mainly organising and judging activities of National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) competition. He led the Main organizing committee of Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2015 held in Colombo Sri Lanka and had been an Executive Committee member & judge of APICTA Awards representing Sri Lanka in many instances since 2005.
Mr. M.G. Tillekeratne

Mr. M.G. Tillekeratne is a chartered member of the BCS and a chartered member of IESL. He graduated in the field of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from University of Moratuwa in 1978. He is currently the Additional General Manager (Distribution Division 4) at the Ceylon Electricity Board.
Mr. Shanaka Rajapaksha

Sri Lanka APICTA Liaison Officer (2019)
Mr Shanaka Rajapaksha is the Director/Chief Executive officer for Apps Technologies (Pvt) LTD and Director Chief Operation’s officer for Cryptogen (Pvt) LTD one of the leading IT security company in Srilanka. Currently He serves as Executive committee member for BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT Srilanka Section) for over 10 years and helps the position of Co-Chairman for the annual National ICT awards (NBQSA) for the year 2014-2017.
He served as a judge for National Best Quality ICT awards for the last 10years and took part in Asia pacific ICT awards which comprises 19 countries in Asia pacific region and 2017 took part in APICTA held in Dhaka Bangladesh as an APICTA judge. He obtained his MSC in IT from Keele University U.K and holds the memberships from BCS The Charted Institute for IT and Australian Computer Society. This year he has been nominated to China Sri Lanka Trade and business Chamber as the Director Investment to look after the business opportunities between both countries too.
Mr. Sampath Senadeera

Mr. Sampath Senadeera is Chartered IT Professional who has more than 18 years of experience in IT industry. Currently he is working as Head of ICT at AIA Sri Lanka – One of the largest Insurers in the world. Prior to this he worked for Brandix Lanka, John Keels Holdings and Emirates Airlines in Dubai – United Arab Emirates. During his career, he had been involved in successful completion of complex technical projects and technology transformational projects globally. This includes Software solutions delivery, Implementation of new network solution architectures, setting up new support mechanisms based on ITIL frame work, large Data Center movement and Cloud/Digital Transformation projects. Sampath holds MBA from Anglia Ruskin University – UK and MBCS CITP membership from BCS. In addition to this he is ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco and CompTIA Certified. He has been serving as Judge for NBQSA since 2013 & elected to BCS Executive Committee in 2019.
Prof. Anuradha Jayakody

Prof. Anuradha Jayakody is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Systems Engineering, Faculty of Computing, and Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Curtin University of Technology, Australia, M. Phil (Statistics and Computer Science) from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, MSc from Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, Sri Lanka, and BSc (Computing) from the University of Greenwich, UK. Having been exposed to various sectors of ICT, he is an eminent researcher with career objectives that include expanding skills through continuous learning and implementing emerging technologies in ICT. As a researcher, he has published over 100 research papers, 15 journal articles, and 4 book chapters. His research interests include SDN, Cloud computing, Assistive technology, Indoor navigation, IoT, Digital Transformation, AI, ML, and Hydroponics.
He has over 28 years of experience in the field of ICT. Currently, he is heading the Computer Systems Engineering department attached to the Faculty of Computing at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology and is the former head of the Graduate Studies and Industry Engagement Unit. He has been working at SLIIT since the year 2007 and has been a university associate attached to Curtin University Western Australia since 2014.
He has been a Senior IEEE member, BCS member, Chartered IT Professional (BCS-UK) since 2007, and also a Chartered Engineer (Engineering Council UK), MIET, MACM, MCSSL, and member of the Internet Society. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Secretary for IET Sri Lanka, Vice Chair for IEEE CSSL, exco member BCS Sri Lanka, and exco member IEEE Sri Lanka Section. He is a co-founder and Managing Director of OROTON Labs (Pvt) Ltd.
Mr. Qasid Mukthar

Qasid Mukthar is a Member of the BCS – The Chartered Institute for IT; and a dynamic / highly motivated individual with over 19 years of experience in the IT industry. He’s specialized in UI/UX, Branding and Design. Currently positioned as the UI/UX Manager at Innovative-e (Pvt) Ltd. Has a proven track record in designing user interfaces for healthcare, real-estate sectors, bespoke web sites and mobile applications.
Qasid has contributed to key BCSSL projects like NBQSA, Biz2Biz.lk and the Web Portal Initiative. He was able to bring his creative thought process to NBQSA – by helping to visually uplift the branding in 2009.
Ms. Shinalee Peiris

Shinalee Peiris is a dynamic General Manager with over 14 years of experience in human resource management, process improvement, and strategic business development. Currently serving as an Executive Committee Member at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and a Visiting Lecturer at Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT Campus), Shinalee brings expertise in formulating effective strategies and fostering positive work cultures.
In her current role as General Manager – Strategy & Operations at E-consulate, Shinalee excels in directing business activities, optimizing resources, and ensuring exceptional customer service. With a strong background in transformative initiatives at organizations like Wavenet and Accenture, she is known for her strategic acumen and commitment to organizational excellence.
Shinalee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems with Business Management and a Master’s degree in Information Security. Fluent in English and Sinhala, she is recognized for her leadership, innovation, and dedication to continuous learning, earning certifications in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Corporate Recruiting.

Mr. Rajeeva George

Rajeeva George brings over 21 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong international background. Currently, he holds the position of Head of IT (Assistant General Manager – Global IT Operations) at Axiata Digital Labs, a pioneering software service provider specializing in digital and IT services for the telecommunications sector in Sri Lanka. Prior to this role, Rajeeva held key positions such as Head of IT at Timex Garments (T&FG), a leading high fashion apparel manufacturer, and at LAUGFS Group of Companies, one of Sri Lanka’s largest diversified business conglomerates.
Rajeeva has completed an MBA in Business Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership from the University of Middlesex, UK. He holds the esteemed status of Fellow member at the Chartered Institute of IT (FBCS) and is a valued Member of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL). In addition, Rajeeva has obtained certification as a Six Sigma Yellow Belt (SSYB) Practitioner. Furthermore, Rajeeva is currently pursuing his Doctor of Business Administration degree, further expanding his knowledge and expertise in the field.
Notably, Rajeeva serves as the Chairman of the National ICT Awards 2020 and is a representative member of the Judging Panel for the National ICT Awards (NBQSA), as well as the BestWeb.lk web competition organized by the BCS Sri Lanka Section and LK Domain Registry. He has also held positions as an executive committee member for the Chartered Institute for IT Sri Lanka Section (BCSSL) and as a subcommittee member for the Sri Lanka Association for Software and Service Companies (SLASSCOM).

Mr. Imran Vilcassim

Imran Vilcassim is a veteran of 23+ Years in the Technology Industry having worked for global companies like Microsoft, Temenos & is currently contracted as a Consultant for Digital Banking & Platforms at BPC AG, one of the largest Digital Payment companies in the world, headquartered in Switzerland. A specialist in Technology-based Innovation & Growth, Imran spent 13+ years with Microsoft in Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia in Technology, Sales & Marketing in enterprises & SMEs and was the Country Manager for Microsoft in Sri Lanka & Maldives from 2013 – to 2015. He also played a key role in Southeast Asia emerging markets in scaling & growing Microsoft’s Cloud Business for Office365 & Azure in Enterprise & SME.
Imran, having left Microsoft in 2017, joined Temenos, World’s No.1 Banking Software Company as its Country Manager for Sri Lanka & Maldives in 2018. He contributed to significant growth in these markets within a short period of time through the acquisition of new customers for Core Banking, Digital Banking, and Risk & Compliance Platforms in Sri Lanka & Maldives. Later, as the Head of Sales for South Asia, he helped drive further growth in these markets for Temenos. Having left Temenos in 2022, Imran is currently a consultant globally for Digital Platforms at BPC AG, a worldwide leader in Digital Payments with 400+ customers. He is also the Consultant for Government Technology Solutions at BPC AG.
Imran has a keen interest and passion in Blockchain and is heavily involved in building awareness and communities in Blockchain applications for Financial Services & Governments. Some of these include Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), Blockchain-based payments, National eKYC Platforms, Self-Sovereign IDs (SSID), National ID Platforms, Trade Finance, Digital Assets (Cryptocurrencies & NFTs), and Decentralized Finance (Defi), Custodian Services for Digital Assets & creating immersive applications in the emerging world of the Metaverse.
Imran was also part of the committee appointed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to advise and formulate a policy for Open Banking. Imran also sits in the board of two companies in HR Technology & Biometrics. He is also an advisor at start-up in the space of Web3 and Blockchain. Imran believes that the future is in Decentralization and the power of Blockchain enables this. Countries and Institutions will benefit significantly by incorporating blockchain in their strategy to drive economic growth.

Throughout his extensive career, Isuru has remained deeply engaged in the rapidly evolving technology landscape, consistently adapting to emerging trends and leveraging state-of-the-art tools to foster innovation and operational efficiency.

Isuru has been a Professional Member of BCS since 2021. Currently serving as the Director of Product at Velou, an AI co-pilot for ecommerce, he previously served as the Vice President – Technology at Epic Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd.
