EmpowerHER
Advancing Women in Tech Across Rural Sri Lanka“
“Despite growing access to internet and basic digital literacy programs, IT usage among rural women remains critically low.”
Why is this happening—and how can we change it?
EmpowerHER is an initiative focused on bridging the gap between access and impact. Through:
– Awareness campaigns
– Practical, hands-on IT training
– Collaborations with NGOs and local educators
We aim to turn access into action—so that women in estate and underprivileged sectors can harness IT as a tool for empowerment, education, and economic independence.
Planning is in progress—watch this space for updates on training sessions and community outreach programs.
